Osamu Satō (boxer)
Osamu Satō ( jap. 佐藤修 , Satō Osamu * 16th December 1976 in Kobe ) is a former Japanese boxer in the super bantamweight and later television actor.
Career
On September 25, 1995, he successfully made his professional debut. He was known by his ring name Hulk . On May 18, 2002 he became World Champion of the WBA when he defeated Yoddamrong Sithyodthong by classic knockout in round 8. In October of the same year he lost the title to Salim Medjkoune on points.
In 2004 he ended his career and devoted himself to acting under the stage name Hulk Ren ( 蓮 ハ ル ク , Ren Haruku ).
