Mai Yamaguchi ( Japanese 山口 舞 , Yamaguchi Mai ; born July 3, 1983 in Shima ) is a Japanese volleyball player . She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics.
Career
Yamaguchi began her career at Osaka International Takii High School. In 2002 she came to her current association, Okayama Seagulls. In 2009 she made her debut in the Japanese national team , with whom she finished third at the 2010 World Cup . In 2011, the outside attacker finished second in the Asian Cup with Japan . In 2012 Yamaguchi took part in the Olympic Games in London and won the bronze medal.
