Maik Schutzbach (born May 31, 1986 in Tuttlingen ) is a German soccer player who played for Kickers Offenbach (2008 to 2010) and 1. FC Saarbrücken (2010/11) in the 3rd division.

Career

Maik Schutzbach's first clubs were SV Spaichingen and VfL Mühlheim. In July 2001 he switched to the football school of SC Freiburg and completed the entire program there, first in the SC youth team, later in the second team. From the 2006/07 season, Schutzbach belonged to the Freiburg professional squad, but could not prevail and remained without professional use. For the 2008/09 season Schutzbach moved to the third division Kickers Offenbach . Due to an injury, Schutzbach initially did not play in the newly founded 3rd division at the beginning of the season . He was only substituted on for the first time on matchday 11.

For the 2010/11 season he moved to third division 1. FC Saarbrücken . Following this season, Schutzbach ended his career in higher-class football, the 4: 3 in Burghausen on the last match day was his last game as a professional footballer. He returned to his home country and ended his active career with the southern Baden association league club SV Endingen.

As positions for him, the half positions were in midfield, centrally in front of the defense or on the left in the defensive chain.
