In the 1920/21 season, the team then took part in association games in the C-class for the first time. In October 1922 the games department became independent again and from then on was called Sportverein Spaichingen. The promotion to the A-class was then achieved for the first time in 1924. In April 1931, the promotion to the district league again succeeded. Although in 1935 you were back in the district class again. With a renewed promotion to the Black Forest district league in 1936, the team was able to establish itself in the top group of that league at the end of the 30s and thus participate in the promotion round to the Gauliga Württemberg in the 1939/40 season . There, however, the team had to admit defeat to SpVgg Untertürkheim and SpVgg Ludwigsburg and only finished third and thus last in the table. During the Second World War , the activity continued with the players who were not drafted. A women's team was also founded at the same time. In August 1945, immediately after the end of the war, games were resumed with a few returning players.

But the direct resurgence should work and the team took part in the league again in the 1949/50 season. At the end of this season, the team was in last place with 10:34 points. Since the league was dissolved anyway for the next season, the SVS rose this time to the 2nd amateur league . The promotion to the 1st amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee should not work until the 1960/61 season . Here the team placed 13th at the end of the season, which was due to the participation in a playoff for relegation. The outcome of this game is no longer known. However, the club then rose again from the 2nd amateur league. On July 12, 1964, the team also stood in the final of the WFV Cup against SpVgg Neckarsulm , but in front of 2,000 spectators the SVS had to admit defeat 3-2 away. In June 1967 the new sub-stadium was inaugurated .
