Maik Walpuski

Maik Walpuski (* 1977 in Dorsten ) is a German professor for science education and teaches at the University of Duisburg-Essen .

Life

Maik Walpuski graduated from high school in 1996 . He started studying chemical engineering at the TU Dortmund , but in 1997 switched to a teaching degree in chemistry and German for secondary level II at the University of Duisburg-Essen . In 2002 he passed the first state examination and then worked as a research assistant for chemistry didactics at the University of Duisburg-Essen. 2006 doctorate he became Dr. rer. nat . Walpuski then completed his legal clerkship at the Alexander-Hegius-Gymnasium in Ahaus and in the study seminar in Bocholt . He completed his legal clerkship in 2007 with the second state examination. From 2007 to 2009 he was again a research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen before he became junior professor at the University of Osnabrück in 2009 . There he was offered a position at Leuphana University in 2011 , where he taught for one semester before moving to the University of Duisburg-Essen.
