Maison de Jeanne d'Arc (Bray sur Seine)
The so-called Maison de Jeanne d'Arc in Bray-sur-Seine , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built at the end of the 15th century. The two-storey half - timbered house on the corner of Rue du Minage and Rue des Remparts has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1928 .
It was built for the Augustinian hermits and later also used as a primary school. During the 17th century, extensive renovations took place inside with decorations that were destroyed during the French Revolution .
Today the house is owned by the municipality.
