The Maitland Glacier is a glacier on the Bowman Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows along the western flank of Hitchcock Heights to Mobiloil Inlet .

The glacier is indistinctly visible in aerial photographs that the Australian polar explorer Hubert Wilkins took on his flight on December 20, 1928. It can be seen much more clearly on the same ones that come from the US polar explorer Lincoln Ellsworth from 1935 and from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) from 1940. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1952 after Osborn Maitland Miller (1897-1979) of the American Geographical Society , who was involved in the creation of the first map of this area based on these aerial photographs.
