Maja Kersnik

Maja Kersnik (born April 17, 1981 ) is a Slovenian badminton player .

Career

Maja Kersnik won her first title in her home country Slovenia in 2003 in women's doubles with Maja Tvrdy . In 2004 they both won doubles again. The following year Kersnik won her first gold medal in the women's singles, in 2007 she won the mixed with Andrej Pohar for the first time . In 2010 she won another women's double title with Špela Silvester . Internationally, she won three titles at the 2004 European University Championships and participated in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 World Badminton Championships.
