Majorel is an international service company with headquarters in Luxembourg that specializes in customer experience and business process outsourcing . It was created in 2019 by merging the activities of Bertelsmann and Saham in customer relationship management .

history

In September 2018, Bertelsmann and the Saham Group announced that they would merge their customer service businesses for other companies. Both companies had already worked together in this area. After approval by the relevant competition authorities , the transaction was completed in early 2019. This created a company “with enormous clout” that is the market leader in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and has a strong presence in America and Asia. The name Majorel was introduced in February 2019. Since then, the company has primarily been driving its international expansion.

Corporate structure

The headquarters of Majorel is located in Luxembourg. The company operates as a limited liability company ( Société Anonyme ). Bertelsmann and Saham each hold half of the shares. Thomas Mackenbrock ( Chief Executive Officer ) has taken over the chairmanship of the management .

Services

Majorel is a B2B provider whose services cover the entire customer lifecycle, including front and back office processes. There are also industry-specific offers for the automotive and financial industries and many others.
