Makoto Ōkubo ( Japanese 大 久保 誠 , Ōkubo Makoto ; born May 3, 1975 in Nagasaki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Ōkubo learned to play soccer on the school team at Nagasaki Nihon University High School and the university team at Fukuoka University . He signed his first contract in 1998 with the Sanfrecce Hiroshima . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1999 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club he completed 17 top division games. At the end of 2000 he ended his career as a soccer player.
