Malcolm Morley (musician)
Malcolm Morley is a British rock singer , guitarist and keyboardist who gained notoriety in the 1970s.
Morley founded the rock band Help Yourself in 1970 , whose frontman he was and with whom he recorded a total of four albums. After the band split in 1973, he briefly joined Man in 1975 , where he only appeared on the album Rhinos, Whinos and Lunatics . Even with Bees Make Honey Morley was briefly a member of the 1970s, he also worked as a studio musician on albums by Wreckless Eric , Kirsty MacColl , Deke Leonard and Ian Gomm . In the early 1980s, Morley said goodbye to the music scene.
In 2001, Morley's first solo album in the form of Aliens came on the market, which only contained his own compositions. Lost and Found followed in 2002 , which Morley had recorded in 1976 with the support of Ian Gomm and Plummet Airlines and which was initially believed to be lost, but was found again in 2001. Hence the name Lost and Found (German lost and found ). The album offers a soft rock with Paul McCartney influences .
