Mall of Arabia (Dubai)
The Mall of Arabia in Dubai , United Arab Emirates , is a planned oversized shopping mall .
The start of construction was originally planned for 2008, the opening for 2010. The opening should now take place no later than 2026. After its completion, it will be the largest shopping center in the world with around 1,400 shops on a total area of around 1.8 million m² (including 930,000 m² of retail space). The Mall of Arabia is located in the area of the emerging Falcon City of Wonders , which in turn is part of the major DubaiLand project , which according to previous plans will once be the world's largest urban entertainment center .
The emerging shopping center is located on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and should also be connected to the (initially stopped) Blue Line of the Dubai Metro .
