Mario Maloča (born May 4, 1989 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian football player . He will be under contract with Lechia Gdańsk from the 2019/20 season .

Career

Maloča started his career in the youth department of the Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb . In 2007 he moved to HNK Hajduk Split , having previously played for NK Zagreb , Inter Zaprešić and NK Kamen Ingrad Velika . In the 2007/08 season he made his debut in the Croatian league against HNK Šibenik . He immediately developed into a regular player and signed a five-year contract at the end of the season. In January 2012, Maloča injured his knee and was out for the rest of the season.

For the 2017/2018 season , Maloča moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth . After two seasons with the clover , he left the club and joined his old club Lechia Gdańsk.

National team

Maloča went through from the U19 to all Croatian national teams. He made his senior national team debut on August 15, 2012 in an international match against Switzerland .
