Malqinhu
Malqinhu ( Chinese 瑪拉 沁 夫 , * 1930 in Heichengzi , Liaoning Province ) is a Sino - Mongolian writer.
Life
Malqinhu was born to Mongolian parents. He joined the 8th Army, led by the Chinese Communist Party, in 1945 . In 1946 he became a member of a cultural ensemble in Inner Mongolia . From 1952 to 1954 he studied in Beijing at the Central Literature Institute. He then returned to Inner Mongolia as a propagandist .
He had also been a writer since the early 1950s, but was banned from writing in 1964 . In 1966 he was imprisoned for several years, but then rehabilitated in 1976 after the end of the Cultural Revolution . In at least the 1980s, he was vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia Writers' Union.
He wrote short stories, novels and film scenarios.
