Mamadou Diouf (* 1963 ) is a Senegalese - Polish singer , author and journalist .

The trained veterinarian came to Poland in 1983 and received Polish citizenship in 2007. Since 2012 he has been a member of the cultural council of the President of Warsaw. He is co-founder and founder of the portals Afryka.org and Kontynent Warszawa-Warszawa Wielu Kultur and as a radio editor at the stations Jazz Radio (2002-2008), Radio PIN (2008-2013) and Polskie Radio RDC (from 2014) informed about African Cultures. In March 2011 he published the book Mała książka o rasizmie ( Little book on racism ) in the Polish language in the publishing house Czarna Owca ; In the same year the Afryka Inaczej Foundation published Afrykański spacerownik po Warszawie ( An African Walker in Warsaw ).

With Pako Sarr and Mohamed M'bow Diouf founded the Senegalese music group Djolof-Man . With the Orkiestr Kinior (with Włodzimierz Kiniorski and Radek Nowakowski ) he recorded the albums African Snow (1993) and Kinior & Mamadou (2007). From 1995 to 2000 he was the singer of the band Voo Voo , with which the albums Zapłacono (1994) and Rapatapa-to-ja (1995) were created. With the singer Anna Maria Jopek he recorded the albums Ale jestem (1997) and Jasnauszło (1999). Since the late 1990s he has been the singer of the group Tam Tam Project , which released two CDs ( Tam Tam Project , 2001; Sunu music , 2005). With the saxophonist Grzegorz Rytka he founded the group Sam Yoon in 2014 , whose first album Umbada was released in 2016.
