Mammalian Genome (JME) is a zoological and genetic journal that as the official journal of the International Society for the Study of the mammalian genome , the International Mammalian Genome Society , is published.

The magazine has been published since 1991 with the 23rd issue in 2012, currently it is published six times a year as double issues. The magazine is distributed by the Springer Science + Business Media publishing house . In 1998 the journal Mouse Genome was merged with the Mammalian Genome, whereby the editorial board of the two journals was also merged.
