Mammoißel is a district of the municipality of Luckau (Wendland) in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The village is located northwest of the core area of ​​Luckau and south of the B 493 .

The place is one of the best preserved rounds of the Wendland. A four-column house in the style of the Low German hall house from 1777, which has a diagonal half-timbered and brick pattern, is worth seeing . The name of the place comes from Slavic and means seat of Malomysl . About 30 people live in the village.

In 1848 Mammoißel had 21 residential buildings with 111 residents.

Mammoißel was originally a municipality in the Lüchow district and was incorporated into the Zeetze municipality in 1929 , which in turn became part of the Luckau municipality on July 1, 1972.
