The Mamquam River is a 35 km long left tributary of the Squamish River in the southwest of the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Mamquam River rises on the southwest slope of Pollen Peak in the Pacific Ranges at an altitude of 1600  m . The Mamquam RIver initially flows 9 km to the west. It forms the northern boundary of the Coquitlam Ranges . The Mamquam River then flows 9 km north through the mountains and meets a large moraine below the Mamquam Icefield . This is surrounded by Skookum Creek and Ring Creek , both of which flow into the Mamquam River on the right. The Mamquam River flows west for its last 17 km and joins the Squamish River near the small town of Squamish . The Mamquam River drains an area of ​​378 km². The mean discharge 5 km above the mouth is 25.5 m³ / s. The highest runoffs are usually measured in the months of May to July.
