The dolmen of Mané Kerioned (dt. "House of the dwarfs" also Butte aux Lutins ) are three dolmens near Plouharnel in the north of Carnac in the Morbihan department in France . The ensemble is located on the D 768 road from Plouharnel to Auray , about 2.56 km from Plouharnel. There is the Dolmen Mané Keriaval on the other side of the street and the Dolmen of Runesto in the direction of Auray .

description

Two of the three V-shaped dolmens are parallel to each other and the entrances are oriented to the south. The eastern one is still deeply deepened, the western one is above ground. The third system, also above ground, lies between them at right angles. According to Pierre-Roland Giot (1919–2002), the shape is one of the oldest in Brittany . The dolmens are accompanied by three small menhirs in the west .

The subdivision into corridor and burial chamber is not pronounced, rather the axial corridor in the chamber area widens roughly pear-shaped, many of the bearing stones and ten cap stones have been preserved. There are numerous engravings on the stones of the eastern recessed dolmen . With a length of more than 11 m, the eastern dolmen is the largest in the complex and is decorated on six of the 27 stones.

The group consists of the same "marble-shaped" slabs as the keystone in the Table des Marchand , but is decorated with zigzag patterns similar to Kercado .

The group was examined several times between 1866 and 1901 and restored in 1921. A number of artifacts were found, but none of major interest.
