Mandideep is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh . Mandideep is located 23 km from Bhopal and is an industrial city that emerged in the late 1970s.

The city is part of the Raisen district . Mandideep has the status of a municipal council . The city is divided into 18 wards . It had 59,654 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of which 32,390 were men and 27,264 women. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 91%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 83.76%, well above the national average.

The city is connected to the rest of the country by a train station.
