Mandy Bruno

Mandy Bruno (born September 20, 1981 in Phoenix , Arizona ) is an American actress .

Life

Bruno became known in the media as a high school student when she tried to play the role of Jesus in an amateur performance of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar and therefore quarreled with the administration of the Catholic school. The school management finally prevailed and Bruno took over the role of Pilate.

She studied theater and dance arts at Otterbein College in Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She was offered a role in the television series Springfield Story while studying . Since 2004 she has appeared in over 200 episodes of this series (as of June 2008) and was nominated for the Daytime Emmy in 2006. In 2007 she starred in a Broadway theater in the play Les Misérables .

She has been married to her colleague Robert T. Bogue since 2011 . They have a son together.
