Manfred Greiffenhagen
Manfred Greiffenhagen (also Greifenhagen ; * July 20, 1896 in Berlin ; † January 19, 1945 in Dachau concentration camp ) was a German writer and cabaret writer.
Life
In the Theresienstadt concentration camp , Manfred Greiffenhagen wrote numerous texts for the camp cabaret and, like the director Kurt Gerron and the other actors, was forced to work on a whitewashed propaganda film about the Theresienstadt concentration camp. The official title is: Theresienstadt. A documentary film from the Jewish settlement area , but better known under the title Der Führer gives the Jews a city .
In 1944 Manfred Greiffenhagen was deported to Auschwitz , like the other actors after the film was finished, and died in 1945 in the Dachau concentration camp .
