Manfred Hofinger

Manfred Hofinger (born February 27, 1970 in Ried im Innkreis , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian politician of the ÖVP . Since December 17, 2013 he has been a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

After primary and secondary school, Hofinger attended a higher education institution for agriculture and forestry. After his military service he attended the agricultural and forestry vocational education academy. He achieved the degree of "qualified pedagogue". He works as a contract employee for the state of Upper Austria. Manfred Hofinger is married and has three children with his wife.

Political career

Hofinger has been the local party chairman of ÖVP Lambrechte since 2006, and has also been mayor since 2009. After Reinhold Mitterlehner was sworn in as Minister of Economics again, Manfred Hofinger received the mandate that had become vacant.
