Manfred Jakubowski-Tiessen
Manfred Jakubowski-Tiessen (born February 23, 1948 ) is a German historian with a focus on the early modern period and a professor emeritus.
Life
Jakubowski-Tiessen studied theology, history and education in Berlin and Kiel . He was Professor of Early Modern History at the Georg-August University in Göttingen (Seminar for Medieval and Modern History).
Its areas of expertise are social, environmental, mentality and church history of the early modern period.
