Manfred Kloiber

Manfred Kloiber (* 1962 in Cologne ) is a German freelance journalist on IT. He works primarily for Deutschlandfunk and ARD . Alternating with Maximilian Schönherr , he moderates the program “ Computer und Kommunikation ”, which appears as a Saturday edition in the series “ Current Research ”.

Life

Kloiber began working as a regional reporter at WDR in Aachen. He then became an author and realized programs such as “ WDR Computerclub ” and “Servicezeit” for WDR television over a period of over 20 years . Manfred Kloiber is an author and reporter for Deutschlandfunk and, in particular, works for Deutschlandfunk Kultur in the field of IT and technology. Since 1994 he has been one of the editors and moderators of the magazine "Computer und Kommunikation", which is broadcast every Saturday at 4:30 pm on the DLF. Kloiber is honorary chairman of the ver.di broadcaster association Deutschlandradio Köln and national chairman of the ver.di specialist group for media. It was in 2015 as Chairman of the Section for Media in ver.di selected. Kloiber also realized live broadcasts from the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum in Paderborn.
