Manfred Oldenburg

Manfred Oldenburg is a German Documentary - Director .

Oldenburg was best known for the documentation produced in 2003 about the Battle of Stalingrad . In 2004 he won the German Television Award for Best Documentation for The Miracle of Bern - The True Story, together with Guido Knopp and Sebastian Dehnhardt . In 2007 he was awarded the Bavarian Television Prize for his sports documentary The Verflixte Third Gate - Wembley '66 - The True Story . In 2013 he received the same award, this time together with Sebastian Dehnhardt and Jobst Knigge for the film Drei Leben: Axel Springer . They also received the German Business Film Award for this film . In 2014 he was responsible for a documentary on the assassination attempt in Sarajevo in 1914.
