Rasmus Petræus (born September 13, 1989 ) is a Danish triathlete .

Career

Petræus was a swimmer in his youth and switched to triathlon in 2006. In 2007 he was already part of the Danish national team and took part in the European Junior Championships.

His first major international success came in 2011 when he won the Challenge Aarhus . In the following year Petrus won the Triathlon Malmö , the Volcano Triathlon on Lanzarote and he became Danish Triathlon Champion.

Petræus completed training as a carpenter. Today he lives with his partner Nina Marie in Birkerød Kommune
