Manfred Rudel

Manfred Rudel (born September 30, 1939 in Aussig , today the Czech Republic ) is a German master painter and varnisher.

Rudel attended elementary school, upper secondary school and the Bayern college in Augsburg . First he completed his vocational training as a mechanical engineer, before he also took it off in the profession of painter and varnisher and finished in 1965 with the master's examination. In 1971 he took over his parents' business. In 1971 he became deputy head master, later head master of the Augsburg painters and varnishers' guild. From 1984 to 1990 he was district craftsman for the Augsburg district craftsmen. He was elected to the General Assembly of the Swabian Chamber of Crafts in 1989, Vice-President in 1990 and President in 1996. In 1974 he became a member of the board of directors of the Augsburg guild health insurance fund and later became its chairman. In 1996 he became chairman of the board of directors of the IKK Schwaben and of the regional association of Bavarian guild health insurance funds . He was also a member of the board of directors of the Federal Association of Guild Health Insurance Funds . From 1988 to 1992 he was an honorary judge at the Augsburg Labor Court , in 1998 he was elected to the Bavarian Senate , of which he was a member until it was dissolved at the end of 1999.
