Charles P. Boyle
Charles P. Boyle (born July 26, 1892 , † May 28, 1968 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American cameraman .
Life
Boyle began working as a cameraman in 1925. From the 1930s to the 1940s, he was primarily involved in short films. After producing His Friend Jello in 1957, Boyle ended his career as a cameraman. He had been involved in more than 80 productions.
For the film Vacation in Hollywood , Bolye and his colleague Robert H. Planck were nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Cinematography in 1946.
Directors with whom he worked several times were Hugo Fregonese and Budd Boetticher .
