Manfred Seiler

Manfred Seiler (* 1952 ) is a German writer .

Life

Manfred Seiler studied philosophy at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and is a graduate of the FHH Munich script workshop .

He published short stories and essays in newspapers and magazines (including "Die Zeit", "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung") and in 1987 the novel "Die Gottesanbeterin" in Piper Verlag . In 1987 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt.

Manfred Seiler is the author of short stories, narrative prose, theater plays, radio plays and scripts (among others for " The Streets of Berlin ", "In the Name of the Law").

Seiler worked for radio (including BR) and various television stations (ARD, RTL, SAT 1, Pro 7) as an editor, producer and author. He developed and supervised a. a. the series: " Trotsky ", "Adventure Zoo", "In the Name of the Law", "Die Wache", "Behind Bars", "Die Kumpel" and " Timm Thaler " (nominated for the Golden Sparrow / category animation).

Manfred Seiler works as a freelance writer and film producer.
