Manfred Weissleder
Manfred Weissleder (born January 29, 1928 in Dortmund ; † February 26/27, 1980 in Hamburg-Altona ) was the founder of the Hamburg Star Club .
He learned the profession of aircraft and electrical mechanic. In 1955 he went to Hamburg as an AEG fitter, where he initially worked as a technical assistant. At the end of the 1950s, he started working as a company electrician in the neighborhood and worked his way up the St. Pauli hierarchy relatively quickly . In 1962 he owned various establishments on the Paradieshof .
When the building authorities requested an emergency exit for the Paradieshof, the latter decided without further ado to take over the Stern Kino and use it as an emergency exit. At the suggestion of Horst Fascher , he turned it into a music club, the Star Club .
