Mia Manganello (born October 27, 1989 ) is an American speed skater .
The 2007/08 World Cup season was her first participation in an international competition. Her best result, 13th in the B group over 1000 meters, was on her home track in Salt Lake City . At the individual distance world championships in 2007 , she took fifth place with Maria Lamb and Anna Ringsred .
She won her first medal at the 2008/09 World Cup opener in Berlin . In the team with Nancy Swider-Peltz Jr. and Catherine Raney-Norman they took 3rd place. A week later in Heerenveen , the same team took 4th place. In the overall standings, their team took second place.
