Coordinates: 34 ° 14 ′ S , 116 ° 8 ′ E The Shire of Manjimup is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 7,027 km² and has about 9250 inhabitants (2016).
Manjimup is located on the southwest coast of the state about 260 kilometers south of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is located in the city of Manjimup , where about 4200 inhabitants live (2016).

The Manjimup Council has eleven members. Councilors are elected by the residents of the six wards (five from the Central, two from the West, and one each from the South, North, East and Coastal Ward). The Council Chairman and Shire President are also recruited from among the Councilor.
