The Mannheimer FG Germania 1897 was a sports club from Mannheim and one of the 86 founding clubs of the German Football Association . He was represented here by Walther Bensemann .

The club played between 1899 and 1902 in the highest class of the Mannheim Football Association (MFB). In the 1903/04 season he joined the Gauliga Pfalz within the Association of South German Football Associations .
