The Manoury Island ( French Îlot Manoury ) is an island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . At the northern end of the Schollaert Canal , it is 2.5 km south of Gand Island .
Participants of the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot mapped them. Charcot named it after Georges Manoury, the secretary of the expedition.
