Manuel Clares García (born February 23, 1948 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish football player .
The winger played for CD Castellón , FC Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano in his professional career . In the 1976/77 season he was the second top scorer in the Primera División behind Mario Kempes . His greatest achievement was winning the 1978 Spanish Cup.
Clares' debut in the Spanish national team on October 17, 1973 in a 0-0 win against Turkey was also his last international match.
