Manuel Reichenbach

Manuel Reichenbach (born July 7, 1976 in Trun in Graubünden ) is a Swiss chef .

Career

Manuel Reichenbach grew up in Trun in the Cadi and completed an apprenticeship in cooking at the Sporthotel Signina in Laax . After completing his apprenticeship, Reichenbach gained experience with well-known chefs at home and abroad. He learned from Armin Amrein on the Bürgenstock, Roland Pierroz in Verbier, from Beat Bolliger in Klosters, from Anton Mosimann in Olten and, last but not least, from Gordon Ramsay in London . In 2003 Reichenbach returned to Trun in the family business in Casa Tödi, a five-hundred-year-old patrician house. Reichenbach has been managing director there since 2007.

  • 2003: Award from the Michelin guide with an entry in the Guide Rouge
  • 2009: Bib Gourmand Switzerland Guide Michelin
  • 2014: 14 points as discovery of the year in German-speaking Switzerland from Gault-Millau Switzerland
