Manuel Trucco Franzani (born March 18, 1875 in Cauquenes , † October 25, 1954 in Santiago de Chile ) was a Chilean politician . From September 3 to November 15, 1931, he served as provisional president of his country.

In 1918 he held the post of General Director of the Chilean Railways and campaigned for the electrification of the lines to the south. In the interim cabinet of Juan Esteban Montero Rodríguez , Trucco served as interior minister. When Montero ran for the presidential elections in 1931, he transferred the official business to Trucco. After Montero's clear election victory, he also took the provisional official business into his own hands on November 15. From 1932 to 1938 Trucco was Chilean Ambassador to the United States ; then he withdrew from politics.

Manuel Trucco came back into public life in 1946 when he took over the office of governor of the Chilean central bank under President Gabriel González Videla , which he held until 1951.
