Manukapua Iceland or Big Sand Iceland is an island in the Auckland region on the North Island of New Zealand . It is located east of the entrance to Kaipara Harbor . The nearest place is Tapora, about 6 km away, in the east and Pouto in the west, north of the entrance to the port.
It is about 4 km long, up to 1 km wide and 2.5 km² in size.
