The Manuscrit du Roi or Chansonnier du Roi (in German: King's manuscript or royal songbook) is a medieval French song manuscript from the middle of the 13th century. It is archived as Manuscrit Français 844 in the French National Library.

The manuscript contains more than 600 songs, most of which were composed between the late 12th century and early 13th century. Some were written by famous troubadors and trouvères, such as Guiot de Dijon and Richard de Fournival , while others were written anonymously. The hymn book was probably commissioned by Charles I of Anjou , who may have wanted to give it to Wilhelm II of Villehardouin , the prince of Achaia . In 1270 it went back into the possession of Charles I.

Today the manuscript is in poor condition. Eighteen pages were lost and some decorative elements were cut out, but it remains an important testimony to medieval music .

In 2007 Jordi Savall performed and recorded pieces from this manuscript in the Catalan monastery of Santes Creus .
