María José Alondra Rojas Pino (born December 17, 1987 in Santiago de Chile ) is a Chilean national soccer player .

Career

society

Rojas started her senior career in 2003 at the Universidad Andrés Bello in the Primera División de fútbol femenino de Chile. At the end of 2007 she left Universidad Andrés Bello and went to Universidad de Chile . There Rojas was in the 2008/09 season, top scorer of the Primera División with 63 points. After this season, she enrolled for a marketing degree at the prestigious University of Texas at San Antonio and played for their Roadrunners Women Soccer Team. In four years she developed into a top performer, which brought her a contract in the W-League with the Gulf Coast Texans in spring 2014 . At the newly founded club in the W-League, she played ten games and scored five goals. On August 27, 2014 Rojas signed with the German Allianz Frauen-Bundesliga team Herford SV . After she had only made 4 appearances for Herford's SV Borussia Friedenstal in the Allianz Women's Bundesliga up until winter , she terminated her contract on December 18, 2014 and returned to the Gulf Coast Texans.

National team

Rojas played internationally for the first time in 2006. In that year she played a few games for Chile's U-20s, Rojas has been a national player for her country Chile since 2009 and was the top scorer with nine goals at the international Copa Bicentenario tournament a year later .

As a trainer

From January 2013 until she moved to Germany , Rojas worked as a youth coach for Thunder FC in New Braunfels .
