Maranatha Fiokpo

The Maranatha FC Fiokpo is a Togolese football club from Fiokpo . He plays his home games at the Stade Général Ameyi .

The club was founded in 1997 and quickly rose to the National Championships . In 2006 and 2009 he won the national championship, in 2003 he won the Coupe du Togo . Due to the success the club was able to qualify several times for the African competitions, where in 2007 it advanced to the "intermediate round".

  • 2007: After Marantha FC's 2-0 win in the 82nd minute, the players and the coach protested the referee's decision and refused to continue. The APR FC Kigali was then disqualified and the Marantha FC moved into the 2nd round.
