Marc Oliver Opresnik (* 1969 ) is a German economist and book author . He is professor of general business administration , in particular marketing at the Technical University of Lübeck and a member of the board of directors at the St. Gallen Management Institute.

Career

Opresnik studied business administration at the University of Hamburg and then received his doctorate on the subject of " Corporate Culture in the USA and Germany". He spent ten years in the management of a company and is the author of numerous articles and specialist books.

Marc Oliver Opresnik has been Professor of General Business Administration, in particular marketing, management and corporate governance, at the Lübeck State University of Applied Sciences since 2008, as well as visiting professor at international universities such as the East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai and the European Business School in London .

Opresnik has been director and member of the scientific advisory board of the SGMI Management Institute St. Gallen since 2013. In addition, on March 1, 2014, he was appointed Chief Research Officer at Kotler Impact Inc., Philip Kotler's global company . As “Chief Executive Officer” he is also responsible for the Kotler Business Program and the Kotler Business Schools worldwide. As president of the management consultancy Opresnik Management Consulting, he works as a coach, key-note speaker and consultant for international corporations, institutions and governments.

Marc Oliver Opresnik is the brother of the journalist Miriam Opresnik .
