Marc Ratajczak (born December 3, 1973 in Mettmann ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2005 to 2012 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Ratajczak reached in 1992, after previously the junior high school had visited on a vocational college , the technical college and graduated in connection to 1995 trained as a merchant in the real estate and housing industry. From 1995 to 1997 he worked as a commercial clerk at a housing company. In 1999 he was the commercial director of a property management company between July and October, and then from 2000 to 2005 he was assistant to the management of a Düsseldorf real estate company. For 16 years he was group leader in the Catholic Youth Holy Family in Mettmann-Metzkausen. In addition to his work as a member of the state parliament, he works as a volunteer paramedic for the German Red Cross in Wülfrath.

Ratajczak was a member of the Junge Union from 1988 to 2008 and has been a member of the CDU since 1991. Since 2004 he has been a co-opted member of the CDU-Mettmann district board. Since 1994 he has been a member of the council of the district town of Mettmann. Marc Ratajczak was from June 8, 2005 a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency of Mettmann IV (Velbert, Wülfrath and parts of Mettmann). He was a full member of the School and Continuing Education Committee, the Council of Elders and the Petitions Committee. In addition, Ratajczak was secretary of the state parliament. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia on May 9, 2010, he ran again as a candidate in the Mettmann IV state electoral district and moved back to the state parliament as a directly elected member. In the 2012 election he was unable to defend his mandate and left the state parliament.

From 2006 to 2008 he was deputy chairman of the Association of Lesbians and Gays in the Union (LSU).
