Marc Rocco

Marc Daniel Rocco (born June 19, 1962 in Los Angeles , California , † May 1, 2009 ) was an American film director , screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Marc Daniel Rocco was born to Harvey King and Sandra Elaine Garrett. After the divorce, Garrett later married actor Alex Rocco , who Marc Rocco was adopted by. At the age of 15, Rocco assisted director Richard Rush on his action comedy The Long Death of Stuntman Cameron . At the age of 24 he made his debut as a director with the musical film Dirty Fame . With Dream a Little Dream , Street Children and Murder in the First, three other films followed as a director.

On May 1, 2009, Rocco died in his sleep in Northridge, Los Angeles, aged 46 for no apparent reason.
