Marcel Manfred Hafke (born March 8, 1982 in Bramsche ) is a German politician ( FDP ).

education and profession

Hafke attended the Friedrich-Bayer-Realschule after elementary school and then the Carl-Fuhlrott-Gymnasium in Wuppertal . After his community service in the Cronenberg municipal nursing home, he completed an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman at DEVK from 2001 to 2004 . From 2004 to 2008 he studied insurance at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences , which he graduated with a degree in business administration. In 2008 Hafke took over his father's insurance agency.

Marcel Hafke is married and has two children.

Political party

Hafke got involved with the Junge Liberalen NRW and was initially deputy state chairman with a focus on organization. From 2004 to 2010 he was state chairman of the Young Liberals. In the FDP he has been a member of the state board of North Rhine-Westphalia and the district board of Düsseldorf since 2004, and he has headed the Wuppertal district association since 2007.

In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010 , Hafke ran as a direct candidate in the state constituency of Wuppertal I and entered the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia via the state list of the FDP . In the state elections in 2012 and 2017 , he again took a place on the list in parliament. Hafke has been a member of the parliamentary group's executive committee and spokesperson for children and families as well as digitization since May 2017. In addition, he is chairman of the AG Digitales of the FDP parliamentary group chairman conference.
