Marcel Poblome
Marcel Poblome (born February 1, 1921 in Tourcoing , † July 17, 2009 in Gorcy ) was a French football player .
Life
At the French club US Tourcoing , Poblome played in the position of the center forward . He also played for the clubs of Excelsior AC Roubaix , FC Nancy , Toulouse FC and AS Monaco .
His participation in the Coupe de France final in 1944 earned him the nickname “Tête d'Or” (German: Goldkopf) . Poblome died in 2009 at the age of 88.
