Marcel Schelbert
Marcel Schelbert (born February 26, 1976 ) is a former Swiss athlete who started for the LC Zurich . His specialty was the 400 meter hurdles . His greatest achievement was winning the bronze medal at the 1999 World Athletics Championships . He was also voted Swiss Sportsman of the Year that year .
After injuries and motivation problems, Schelbert resigned from top-class sport in 2003. Today he works at a bank.
