Marcelo Figueras

Marcelo Figueras (* 1962 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is a writer , journalist and author of film scripts, for example for the novel Brennender Zaster by Ricardo Piglia and for his own novels. His film Kamtschatka (cinema, Argentina 2002, directed by Marcelo Piñeyro ) was awarded the Panorama Audience Prize at the Berlinale 2003 ( Berlin International Film Festival ).

He now lives in Barcelona and is considered one of the most important modern authors in Latin America .
