Marcin Rafał Możdżonek (born February 9, 1985 in Olsztyn ) is a Polish volleyball player .

Career

Możdżonek became European champions in 2003 with the Polish juniors. In 2004 he came to AZS UWM Olsztyn and was Polish runner-up in the first season. Three third places followed in the next few years. In addition, the middle blocker made his debut on June 1, 2007 in the senior national team . In 2008 he reached the quarter-finals with Poland at the Olympic Games . He then moved to Skra Bełchatów . There he won the national double of championship and cup victory in his first season with the new club. With the national team he became European champion in 2009 by beating France in the final . 2010 Możdżonek was able to defend the championship title with Bełchatów and a year later succeeded again the double. With Poland he reached third place in the 2011 World League and the subsequent European Championship and came second in the World Cup . In 2012, his club was cup winner and runner-up. The Poles won the World League in 2012 . Możdżonek experienced his second Olympic tournament in London . He then moved to Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle within the league .
